Frittenden Church of England Primary School is a very short walk from St Mary’s Church. We visit the church at special times of the year, for example Christmas, Easter, Harvest Festival and Mothering Sunday.
Revd. Olney, his wife Angela and members of St Mary's congregation visit the school every Thursday morning for 'Open the Book' collective worship. Together they act out stories from The Bible for the children; explore the mean of the story; and the children learn a new song. It is one of the many highlights of the week.
The church was extensively restored in the 1840s and rectors have been recorded, continually, since 1279. Further information about the church, including photographs, events and contact details, can be found on the following website: http://frittenden.deaneryintheweald.org.uk/
