Year 6 London Trip

Year 6 London Adventure – A Post-SATs Treat to Remember!

Our Year 6 pupils celebrated the end of their SATs with an exciting day out in London — and what a day it was!

We began our adventure by catching the train into the capital. Spirits were high as we made our way across the bridge to the South Bank, where our first stop was the London Eye. The views from the top were truly breath-taking — spotting landmarks from above was a real highlight for many of the children (and staff!).

Afterwards, we enjoyed a picnic lunch in the park, soaking up the sunshine on what turned out to be a gloriously warm day.

Our final stop was a visit to SEA LIFE London Aquarium, where we were amazed by the incredible sea creatures — from graceful turtles and colourful tropical fish to majestic sharks and playful penguins. The children were fascinated and full of questions, and it was wonderful to see their curiosity and enthusiasm shine through.

It was a fantastic reward for all their hard work and a special memory to round off their time in primary school. A big thank you to all the staff who helped make the day possible.
