Shakespeare Class had a special visitor on the 2nd May. Mrs. Bush (Beryl) was 9 when the war ended in Europe. She had very firm memories of what life had been like at the time of WWII. She told the class many stories, such as the time they entertained 18 soldiers for Christmas dinner. The children asked lots of great questions and listened intently to her answers. Thanks to Mrs. Bush for sparing an afternoon to be with us.
